Between us, we've spent years inside some of the world's most complex tax and finance environments — at companies like Nike, Uber, KPMG, and EY. We've led tax functions, rebuilt finance teams, managed eight-figure VAT recoveries, and untangled positions that had been building for years before anyone noticed.
And in all of that, we kept seeing the same thing. Companies at a critical moment — growing fast, entering new markets, facing a complex transaction — with no senior tax or finance resource they could actually reach. From fast-growing scale-ups to mid-size companies with a single person covering everything, the gap was the same: brilliant advice delivered by someone who'd be gone before the ink was dry. The Big 4 would send a team, but rarely the same people twice. Disconnected from the business.
We wanted to build something different. A firm where the person you speak to on day one is the same person doing the work — and still there six months later.
